What are Your Favorite Crowdsourcing Sites for Graphic Design?

What works best for you in using crowdsourcing for graphic design such as logos, stationery, brochures and websites?

Do you use design competition sites such as 99designs, CrowdSpring, or DesignCrowd, and if so which one is best?

Or do you prefer to use services marketplaces such as Odesk, Freelancer.com, or Elance for your design tasks?

It depends on what you're doing.

Logos are definitely best when designers compete – I use 99designs and love it. But I then give it to a designer I know well to do stationary and stuff.

I've never tried to get a website designed on 99designs – I reckon that would be hard.

I got a really nice result for my company logo from DesignCrowd. There were a lot of designs to choose from – almost overwhelming, but there was a clear winner too. I'll be trying a web design soon, although I imagine it will be harder to pick a winner for this, given that it is generally much more complex than just a logo.

12designer is a good one for those located in Europe! And they have very good customer support, too!

Thanks for the thoughts George and GP – I wonder whether there's anything different you need to do to get website design done well on a competition platform.

And thanks for the pointer JDale – we'll add it to our wiki of crowdsourcing tools when we launch it (soon now) and keep track of 12designer.

My vote is on the new kids on the block Crowdontap

The ones you've listed are quite good, but I have to agree with JDale and say 12designer. Their major advantage is multiple languages and as JDale said, good customer support. Highly recommended.

Hi, I have gone through so many of comments and I really
excited to post my comment on this as well, well besides from 99 design and crowdsorc.com,
there are some other sites offering platforms for the design professionals.
Such as elance.com, odesk.com and http://www.designhill.com , these sites are good to create your
own portfolio and freelancers can participate in open contest. Here you can get
a chance to directly chat with the client so that you can get feedbacks on your
designs. Also, they launch hidden contest so that there is no need to worry
    about your design being copied.
